ABOUT MY COMPANY

Support Legal is the go-to and most innovative legal services platform in the Middle East and Africa. We use streamlined practices,
technology and a disruptive mindset to bring innovation to a traditional industry.

Unlike traditional law firms, Support Legal does not charge our time by the hour. We provide cost-efficient and cost-certain legal services
by working on a fixed-fee basis or via our unique subscription model. Our team is comprised exclusively of the top 1% of lawyers in the
world, each with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with the world’s pre-eminent firms and we have “Uber-ised” access to them.
Off the clock and on your side. Welcome to Support Legal. Same Law, Different Thinking.

I also have a keen interest in technology and am bringing this knowledge to bear in developing the suite of technologies and
applications we plan to use to deliver our leaner way of working

ABOUT ME

I co-founded Support Legal in 2015 and am an Australian lawyer who qualified to practice law in 2005 with King & Wood Mallesons in
Sydney, a leading corporate and finance law firm in Australasia. Within the corporate team at KWM, I worked on a broad range of
transactions. In 2008, I moved to the UAE to join Herbert Smith Freehills before taking a Legal Counsel role with the Dubai
headquartered container terminal operator DP World. I then joined Xstrata plc in 2012 during their takeover by Glencore.

Shortly after the takeover, I commenced as General Counsel of Ferrexpo plc, a UK listed company based in Switzerland. For the last 3 years, I have managed the company’s legal function including negotiating finance transactions, managing their debt restructuring, leading on the
disposal of minority interests and managing all of the company’s corporate and commercial transactions. My time at Ferrexpo earned me
a nomination in 2016 for General Counsel of the Year at the Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards.

I also have a keen interest in technology and am bringing this knowledge to bear in developing the suite of technologies and applications
we plan to use to deliver our leaner way of working. I have already engaged in discussions with leading legal technology companies in
Asia and the US to partner with them for the UAE (and the wider MENA region).

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Management), a Bachelor of Laws and a graduate certificate in legal practice from the University
of Technology, Sydney. I am licensed as a lawyer in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
